October: Our trick or treat trail is a great way to give back to the children and families of our community. We provide a safe and fun trick or treat experience for nearly 5,000 people
December: Get in the holiday spirit with fun science arts and crafts. Learn about simple circuits to light up ornaments, build a melting snowman with polymers, and more.
January: Mary Shelley's famous book is turning 200 in January 2018! Celebrate her work by diving into some of the age old questions that we are still discussing today: What is life?, Why do we create?, and What are our responsibilities as creators, scientists, and engineers?
February: There is no better way to celebrate Valentine's day than by learning about the organ we say is responsible for love. Dissect a heart, learn about the body's blood pumping system, and try to understand the tricky chemical relationships that make people fall in love.
March: NanoDays is an annual, nationwide festival of educational programs about nanoscale science and engineering and their impact on society. Learn about this emerging field of research, which holds the promise of developing revolutionary materials and technologies.
April: The blue planet we call home is definitely worth celebrating. Join us to learn more about the world around us by diving deeper into the out-of-this-world geology and ecology of our planet.
May: Let your inner sci-fi fan shine on this galactic occasion. We will be celebrating this timeless classic and pioneer of modern sci-fi cinema with intersteller activities and light saber engineering.
