Director of Philanthropy
The Science Zone is accepting applications for a director of philanthropy to support the grant writing, and other incoming philanthropic opportunities.
The director of Philanthropy at the Science Zone reports directly to the Executive Director. The director of Philanthropy identifies and verifies opportunities for philanthropic causes that align with the mission and vision of the Science Zone.

Field Trip Interns
The Science Zone is currently accepting intern applications for the Spring of 2017. Eligible interns must be declared majors in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or other science subject at Casper College of UW-Casper and in good academic standing.
Interns will become an integral part of The Science Zone’s vibrant field trip program and will be expected to work 6-10 hours per week. Responsibilities include planning and teaching hands-on, inquiry-based science lessons to elementary school aged students. Eligible interns will receive an hourly wage and may be considered to receive academic credit upon successful completion of the internship.

The Science Zone is accepting applications for a highly qualified educator to join its team of energetic and innovative staff. This individual will be primarily responsible for developing and delivering engaging and hands-on school day and after school programs to school aged children. Ideal candidates would be available to be scheduled on weekdays between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM throughout the school year and summer months. May be asked to participate in one-time events on evenings and weekends as necessary. Individuals can expect to work 20-30 hours per week during the school year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer. Starting salary is $10/hr depending on qualifications.

Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity? Look no further! Our Explainers serve the Science Zone by leading birthday parties, running special events, and more! High school and College Students, this is a great opportunity to volunteer at a non-profit, gain incredible work experience, and do fun science experiments like making slime and homemade ice cream with liquid nitrogen! We do have stipends available for those who are motivated and work hard!
